About
I am a doctoral researcher at the European University Institute, in political science.
I graduated in 2008 from Science Po Paris (Research Master in European comparative politics).
From 2007 to 2010, I worked as research assistant and associate doctoral student for the European Institutions Observatory (Centre d'Etudes Européennes de Science Po). I contributed to building and analysing an extensive database on the decision-making process within the European Union.
My research interests lay on European integration, European citizenship, public opinion, welfare states, and cross-national surveys. My PhD thesis investigates the link that individuals make between the welfare state in their country and European integration. Using quantitative methods, the analysis includes, as explanatory factors for support for Europe, individual attitudes towards the welfare state (evaluation of the welfare regime and political values related to social protection) as well as the contextual influence of welfare regime, at the aggregate level.
From 2010 to 2011, I co-chaired the EUI Colloquium on Political Behaviour. The coloquium offers researchers and fellows concerned with all kinds of political behavior a platform to discuss their work.
From september 2011 to January 2012, I was a visiting research fellow at the Center for the Study of Democracy, at University of California at Irvine.
My current work includes:
- An analysis of the multidimensionality of support for Europe and European identity. Part of this work is being published in:
