About
Research
Jenny Hansson is a doctoral researcher at the European University Institute in Florence. Her dissertation project investigates how the work-to-life balance affects well-being and individual career/influence opportunities among National Parliamentarians, in a comparative perspective between Sweden and Germany. Based on a model and pre-study originally developed in her Master Thesis, Jenny Hansson has constructed a survey questionnaire tailored for country comparison between groups of political elites, currently applied to the total populations of Swedish and German parliamentarians. Her survey study is complemented by in-depth interviews with representatives of the two countries.
